1. Application
Type W is for use in heavy duty power systems as power supply cable such as: AC systems (grounded and
ungrounded); mobile and portable electrical equipment; motor and battery leads. 4 conductor constructions
are for three phase systems with one conductor being used as a ground. 5 conductor constructions are for
three phase systems where one conductor is used as a neutral and one conductor being used as a ground,
Type W is for applications up to 2000 volts and temperatures from -40°C to +90°C.

Conductor: Annealed bare copper flexible rope-lay-stranded

Insulation: Colour coded synthetic rubber
Jacket: Extra hard usage black, oil and weather resistant CPE

Max. Voltage: 600/2000V
Features: An open reinforcement is applied over the assembly for mechanical strength.
Colour Code: 2c - Black, White; 3c - Black, White, Green; 4c – Black, White, Red, Green; 5c - Black, White, Red, Green, Orange
